Finnish old-school death metal outfit Shrapnel Storm are going to release the follow-up to their 2015 debut “Mother War”. The band has just signed a deal with French death metal label Great Dane Records, which is going to release Shrapnel Storm’s self-titled sophomore album on August 17, 2020.
The band comments on the new release:
«The five-year break between the two albums has been longer than we expected, but we’ve had some severe headwind during the last couple of years; we lost our rehearsal place, the old label terminated its existence, we fucked up the schedules in studio and finally the world turned upside down because someone ate a bat in China! Needless to say, with all this, the album came as hard as a rock!»
