Our Mission

We share our passion for music by posting album/EP reviews, interviews with bands/artists, live reports and album of the month posts. We continue the conversation about mental health by sharing our own experiences with ill mental health and encourage our readers to do the same. It’s OK not to be OK and you don’t have to face struggles alone.

Our History

After years of writing for different music webzines, editor in chief Lotty Whittingham decided it was time to run her own.

Rock Out Stand Out has been in development over the years and is a step up from a previous blog Lotty ran.

At Rock Out Stand Out, promotion for bands is their top priority. Whether it’s sharing news, writing a review or interviewing the band, each of these play a huge part in a band’s story.

Most recently, Rock Out Stand Out developed mental health awareness aspects by inviting readers to share their stories. This is due to Lotty’s own experiences with ill mental health and her knowing first hand how alone it can make you feel.
