Hello everyone,
Hope you’re all doing very well and looking after yourselves.
I would first like to thank you for your patience with regards for content on Rock Out Stand Out. I realised I put an update on socials but not here so apologies for that.
At the beginning of April, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; this was after multiple visits to the doctors about persistent itching and coughing. This diagnosis came very out of the blue, one I was not expecting. It meant that I needed to put everything on hold very quickly in order to undergo very intense treatment.
As I write this and since the last post on socials, I will be starting my last round of chemotherapy next week all being well.
Whilst the treatment is going very well so far, it makes me feel exhausted physically, emotionally and mentally. I will keep you updated once I know more.
I have missed writing about music and can’t wait to share with you what albums have helped me through this. In the meantime, look after yourselves and see you all very soon.
Take Care
Lotty
