Newcastle, Australia alternative groove metal band CHAOSAINT are about to release their debut EP ‘In The Name Of’- available on all digital platforms June 19, 2020.
Entirely self recorded and produced by the band and mastered by Troy Glessner (AUGUST BURNS RED, DEVIN TOWNSEND) the 5 Track EP showcases the bands blend of aggression, energy and melody.
The first single “Darkness Following’ was released unto a largely unsuspecting audience earlier in May and has received many positive reviews from the bands growing fan base and peers alike with crowd reviews on Reverbnation praising the strong guitar work, energetic drumming and hook laden chorus.
The band are currently streaming ‘Knives Are Drawn’, the raging metalcore tinged opening track from the EP- described by Vocalist/Guitarist Shay Burgess as an ode to the ‘Evil things people are capable of after a breakup’. The song invokes a groove reminiscent of sacrament era Lamb Of God meets Machine Head.
