Montréal menacing black/death/doom trio Shezmu‘s debut album, À Travers Les Lambeaux, will be out on CD & digitally via Krucyator Productions on July 27. The second single “Les Secrets des Ziggourats,” which serves as the fifth track of the opus, is available for streaming.
“‘Les Secrets des Ziggourats’ talks about mental health — more precisely schizophrenia and epilepsy — and their roles during ancient times,” inform Shezmu. “People with such mental illness were often portrayed as they came from the Gods themselves.”
