ROCK OUT STAND OUT PLAYLIST – 10.10.2020

Two weeks is up, meaning it’s time for a new playlist. Album and single releases picked up, musicians celebrated birthdays and album anniversaries over these past two weeks.

Album releases come from Protokult, Nightmare, Amaranthe, Saltatio Mortis and Nachtblut so there are songs from those respective albums on those.

NanoWar Of Steel, DevilDriver, Unleash The Archers, Leah, Epica, Metalite, SKAM and Eleine released singles this week to promote their latest or upcoming albums. Blind Guardian are due to release a live album so a live version of one their songs is on the list.

Sabaton’s own Joakim Broaden and AC/DC’s Brian Johnson celebrated birthdays so expect to hear classics from both bands.

Alter Bridge, Nightwish and Cradle Of Filth celebrated album anniversaries over the past two weeks so songs from these albums are on the list.

This week, we lost another rock legend to the big C. Eddie Van Halen lost his long battle with cancer this week and it’s clear how much he influenced so many. To honour his passing, there is a classic Van Halen track.

That’s it for now, see you on the next list.
