We are officially into October now, days and nights getting colder. Hoping the latest edition of the Rock Out Stand Out Playlist will make the ideal soundtrack to your cosy nights in.

There has been a bunch of new singles these past two weeks. These come from the likes of FEUERSCHWANZ, KISSIN’ DYNAMITE, RUNNING WILD, GHOST, CRAZY LIXX, TOLEDO STEEL, BLEED AGAIN, SHATTERED VESSELS, BEAST IN BLACK, LORDI and BROTHERS OF METAL. AD INFINITUM invited Nils Molin (AMARANTHE/DYNAZTY) to collaborate with them on their latest single Afterlife. THE BIG DEAL cover a NIGHTWISH classic.

Album releases come from RAGE, ASKING ALEXANDRIA, IMAGINATURE and KK’S PRIEST. Martin’s album review of RAGE’s record can be found here and stay tuned for an interview. Writers Jack and Megan reviewed the latest from ASKING ALEXANDRIA and KK’S PRIEST so stay tuned for those reviews.

WHITESNAKE, IRON BUTTERFLY and POWERWOLF all had members celebrate birthdays these past two weeks so classics from them can be found on the list.

It would have been Marc Bolan’s (T.REX) birthday within these two weeks so it only seemed fitting to include a classic to close the list.

That’s it for this playlist, see you on the next one.
