Our opening gambit for this edition, comes in the form of the opening track from the recently released, KISS Off the Soundboard: Live in Virginia Beach 2004. This begins with the renowned “You wanted the best. You got the best” quote and here at Rock Out Stand Out we do attempt to grant you, our honoured readers the best selection of the latest rock and metal tracks with a few classics thrown in for good measure too!
We stick with a live format and include a track from another recent release, the live EP Blood Red Sky (Live in Europe) from DENDERA which totally encapsulates their live show performances!
We then celebrate the birthday of IRON MAIDEN legendary bassist Steve Harris with the classic track 2 Minutes to Midnight.
Next up are not one, but a total of eleven new tracks from a mix of single and album releases from FURY, SATAN, CLOVEN HOOF, MOONLIGHT HAZE, HEAVEN’S GUARD, VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, SHEWOLF, FALLEN SANCTUARY, WIND ROSE, THE BIG DEAL and PLACEBO
The next four tracks are selected because of birthday celebrations from Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG) Dee Snider (TWISTED SISTER), Bret Michaels (POISON), and Jerry Cantrell (ALICE IN CHAINS) over the past fortnight.

The next track comes from CONTROL THE STORM whose singer Firouzeh celebrated her birthday this past week.
We then feature the new release from PAPA ROACH before we celebrate further birthdays from the likes of SUM 41’s Deryck Whibley, Mark Hoppus of BLINK-182, David Draiman from DISTURBED, Joe Hahn of LINKIN PARK, Roger Sjunnesson from THE UNGUIDED/Ex-SONIC SYNDICATE and Roy Khanfrom CONCEPTION/Ex-KAMELOT.
