May is now on the horizon. Named after the Greek Goddess Maia, this month brings warmer temperatures, nature is fully in bloom and Summer is not that far away. With all the signals of growth in nature this must be reflected with a new playlist!
Welcome to the latest edition of the Rock Out Stand Out Playlist! In this edition (for a change) we have not included any classic tracks for album anniversaries or musicians’ birthdays due to the sheer volume of new releases that have come out over the past couple of weeks.
Sadly, we cannot feature them all but what we have selected includes releases from some classic acts, the first release from a band that have not released anything for a decade, some returning favourites, an incredibly catchy cover and some up and coming bands too.

The theme for our next playlist is Mental Health Awareness and we would love for musicians and our readers to reach out to us and share a song that either helps them when things get too much or helps to put a smile on their face with a couple of sentences how this song makes you feel too.
We will be collating these for our next playlist (these can be anonymous to respect your privacy too) and we will include some picks from the Rock Out Stand Out Team too.
