Another month has passed which means it’s time for another edition of the Rock Out Stand Out playlist.
A lot of exciting music has been unleashed into the world with albums from the likes of ENFORCER, IGNEA, SAINT DEAMON, ELVENKING, HAMMERFALL, BATTLE BORN, DEATHSTARS, STORM SEEKER, and BURNING WITCHES. BATTLE BORN’s new release is particularly exciting as it’s their first full-length album. Crimson Thunder, HAMMERFALL’S latest album is a 20th-anniversary edition. The album was originally released in 2004 and is for those who love classic, dragon-slaying power metal.
There have also been some singles from top metal acts including GHOST who did a cover of GENESIS’ Jesus He Knows Me, INFECTED RAIN, TRAGEDY, SIRENIA, THE SILENT RAGE, H.E.A.T, BLACKBRIAR, MYSTIC PROPHECY, and LORD OF THE LOST.
LORD OF THE LOST has seen a lot of success recently due to the fact that they are representing Germany in this year’s Eurovision.
As usual, there are also some birthdays to celebrate including DEVIN TOWNSEND, ALTER BRIDGE’S Mark Tremonti, WITHIN TEMPTATION’S Rudd Jolie, KISSIN DYNAMITE’S Hannes Braun, ENSIFERUM’S Sami Hinnka, DREAM THEATER’S James LaBrie, AMORPHIS’S Toni Joustin, FEUERSCHWANZ’S Hans Platz, OPETH’S Mikael Akerfeldt, and last but not least, Johann Hegg from AMON AMARTH.
