Happy New Year to you all, I hope you are all staying safe and well during this pandemic wherever you are. Hopefully the first playlist of 2021 will help lift spirits, escape or both. Stay tuned for more posts to come this year.

Brand new releases come from the likes of Illumishade, Evergrey, Human Fortress, dArtagnan, Mod Sun, Control The Storm, Arion, Michael Schenker Group, Grimgotts, Inglorious, Voodoo Circle, Fraser Edwards and Korpiklanni.

Beyond The Black and Fleshgod Apocalypse have released covers so those are on the list too.

Grave Digger’s Chris Boltendahl and Rammstein’s Till Lindemann celebrate birthdays so a classic from each of these can be found on this list.

We lost two music icons a few years ago so to honour these anniversaries, there are classics from Motorhead and David Bowie on the list. We also honour the sudden passing of Alexi Laiho by featuring a classic from Children Of Bodom on the playlist. Our thoughts go out to their family, friends and fans.

See you on the next playlist.
