Two weeks are up, which means it’s time for the latest edition of the playlist. Given what’s going on in the world right now, I hope the music from this playlist helps to lift spirits and provide comfort for whatever you’re going through.
This playlist includes new singles from EDGE OF PARADISE, MORTEMIA, VICTORY, WARKINGS featuring LORD OF THE LOST’s Chris Harms (a.ka. The Lost Lord), BRAINSTORM, MASSIVE, ECLIPSE, RHAPSODY OF FIRE and IRON MAIDEN. Some of these are in anticipation of upcoming releases and others are stand alone releases.
Among these single releases are two special covers from NIGHTWISH vocalist Floor Jansen and DREAM OCEAN featuring SABATON/MAJESTICA’s Tommy Johansson. SABATON have released a lyric video to a fan favourite and JUDAS PRIEST release a new live single.
We have had album releases from POWERWOLF, THE OUTLAW ORCHESTRA, THY KINGDOM WILL BURN and LAURENNE/LOUHIMO so songs from those albums can be found on this list. THE OUTLAW ORCHESTRA also cover a classic on this list.
Brian May, Sharon Den Adel and Slash have all had birthdays within these two weeks so to celebrate, songs from their respective bands are on this edition.
