This single has been out for a little while now and it’s been on my list to do a write up as a standard social media post will not do this spine-tingling single justice. The single in question is Cold by TRIBE OF GHOSTS; they state their music being Dystopian Music for a Totalitarian World and judging from the brutally haunting and wonderful sounds in this, I can wholeheartedly agree with this.
The single itself grabs your attention immediately whether you are ready for the sounds or not, this is done through a sound that is usually the beginning of nightmares. In terms of the context of this single, this is a glowing compliment as it works brilliantly.
What is bestowed upon you is no ordinary straight-forward song, it’s a complex piece of art with intricately placed components that are designed to keep you on your toes. The elements this chilling single contains are haunting vocals, heart stopping growls and eerie music arrangements. All of these work together so well to create a spine-tingling melody that wouldn’t be out of place in a horror/sci-fi thriller.
If you want to listen to something that will literally stop you in your tracks and get your heart thumping, Cold is the single to go to. Stay tuned as TRIBE OF GHOSTS are due to release their next single this Friday.
