Hello and a happy new year to you all. The year has barely begun and already there is already exciting new music. This is great news when putting together the first Rock Out Stand Out Playlist of 2023 so let’s see what we have.
Some of the music was released before the end of the year that include album releases from FEUERSCHWANZ and LORD OF THE LOST. The majority were singles that promoting album releases in 2023; those singles are from BROTHERS OF METAL, TWILIGHT FORCE, ALL FOR METAL, BROTHER FIRETRIBE MORTEMIA, DARK SARAH, WITHIN TEMPTATION, MARIUS DANIELSEN and ELVENKING. SCARDUST released a project single before 2022 finished so all of these can be found on the list.
Moving forward onto the releases from 2023; single releases come from STORM SEEKER, GRIMGOTTS, FROZEN CROWN, NANOWAR OF STEEL, INFINITAS, REXORIA, DELAIN and BLOODBOUND. Album releases come from SKYBLAZER and BEYOND THE BLACK.
Rob Zombie, Chris Boltendahl, Til Lindemann, Hella, Richie Faulkner, John Bonham and Jimmy Page all have had birthdays so songs from each of their respective bands are on the list.
The year was hit with some sad news this year as legendary guitarist Jeff Beck sadly passed away this week so to honour him, the playlist ends with one of his tracks.
